By Israel Adamu, Jos

Alhaja Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, has praised President Bola Tinubu for laying the foundation for significant progress in Nigeria across various sectors.

Speaking at a town hall meeting with key stakeholders at the Plateau State Government House in Jos over the weekend, Omotayo emphasized the administration’s commitment to initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.

“Our President is dedicated to upgrading state infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and public buildings, through the Ministry of Works and Housing,” she stated. “He is also rolling out programs to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and farmers, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.”

The event drew critical stakeholders from multiple sectors, alongside groups and associations from Plateau State. Omotayo stressed that the meeting aligned with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to uplift citizens’ livelihoods across the nation.

She highlighted Tinubu’s focus on improving access to quality education and healthcare, while also acknowledging Plateau State’s resilience and cultural heritage.

“As the President’s Personal Assistant on Constituency Affairs, my role is to ensure that the concerns and needs of the people of Plateau State are addressed,” Omotayo assured. “We will work closely with the state government, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders to promote peace, stability, and development.”

She also announced that future visits to Plateau would bring empowerment programs aligned with the *Renewed Hope Agenda*, aimed at driving tangible improvements for citizens.

Omotayo noted several key reforms under President Tinubu’s leadership, including the removal of fuel subsidies, exchange rate unification, and a review of the Electricity Act.

“Let’s come together to build Nigeria,” she urged.

Earlier, Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, represented by Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development Hon. Musa Ashoms, reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving citizens’ welfare. He highlighted ongoing efforts to revamp agriculture, transportation, and other critical sectors within the state.

During the town hall, participants urged the Federal Government to prioritize infrastructure development, agriculture, the digital economy, youth empowerment, and security, while ensuring the dividends of democracy are delivered to Nigerians.
