Philanthropist Distributed Food Items Worth N142m In Sokoto

By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

Sokoto state based businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Murtala Abdulkadir Dan’iya, distributed N142.1 million and over 5,600 bags of rice to vulnerable individuals, inmates, and internally displaced persons, among others.

This generous donation is specifically targeted at the four local government areas worst hit by banditry, with each area receiving N10 million and 200 bags of rice. This breakdown demonstrates Alhaji Dan’iya’s commitment to providing tangible support to those affected by violence and instability.

Alhaji Dan’iya’s philanthropic efforts are not new; he has been recognized for his contributions to the Sokoto State Zakat and Endowment Commission, providing food items and drugs to vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons.

His selfless actions serve as a shining example of the impact one individual can have on their community.

Alhaji Dan’iya’s remarkable generosity inspires others to follow in his footsteps, fostering a culture of kindness and compassion that benefits the most vulnerable members of our society.
