NCDMB Pledges Support to Caverton Helicopters

Amgbare Ekaunkumo, Yenagoa

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, has pledged maximum support to Caverton Helicopters, a leading aviation and marine logistics provider in the oil and gas industry.

The Executive Secretary made the pledge during a facility visit to Caverton Helicopters in Lagos, expressing amazement at the company’s advanced technical capabilities for aviation-related services in the oil and gas sector.

He commended the company for its impressive track record and significant investments in helicopter maintenance within Nigeria.

The NCDMB boss assured the company of NCDMB’s readiness to partner with them meaningfully in their ventures.

He promised to look into the company’s business needs and provide support to ensure sustainability and growth.

Engr. Ogbe highlighted funding options available to companies in the oil and gas industry, including the African Energy Bank and the Community Contractors Fund, which provides low-interest credit facilities to facilitate expansion and growth of indigenous businesses.

He noted that Caverton Helicopters has huge opportunities in the industry, particularly with upcoming mega projects such as the Bonga Oil Field, Zabazaba deep water project, and Ubeta Gas Field. With these projects, the NCDMB boss believes Caverton Helicopters is poised for growth and success.

The NCDMB’s commitment to supporting Caverton Helicopters is in line with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Nigeria First” agenda. With the NCDMB’s support, Caverton Helicopters is expected to continue growing from strength to strength.
