JUST IN: Federal Government Announces Free Education for Technical College Students

The Federal Government has declared that all students attending federal and state technical colleges will now receive free education.

The new policy covers free tuition, accommodation, feeding, and a monthly stipend of N22,500 for each student.

Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, revealed the initiative during the launch of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme in Abuja on Friday.

Dr. Alausa stated that the move aims to attract more youth to technical and vocational education, equipping them with practical skills to become productive contributors to society.
