The Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), , has described the appointment of as the new Deputy Governor of Kano State as a major boost to the state’s political landscape and good governance.
Yakasai made the remarks in his congratulatory message following Garo’s confirmation by the , stating that Governor made the right choice for the government and people of the state.
He said the emergence of Murtala Sule Garo would strengthen governance and further reposition Kano State for greater political stability and development.
According to him, Kano politics is rapidly evolving, and with competent leadership under Governor Yusuf and his deputy, the state is set to become an exemplary model in Nigeria’s democratic process.
Yakasai noted that the administration of Abba/Garo would bring lasting progress and improve governance delivery across the state, adding that both leaders possess the experience needed for effective leadership.
He also commended members of the Kano State House of Assembly for what he described as an orderly and transparent screening and confirmation process, noting that the lawmakers ensured merit and due diligence in the nomination process.
The TSG Director-General expressed confidence that the people of Kano would benefit from the administration, assuring residents that the new leadership combination would justify the trust placed in them through quality governance and sustained development.
