Gov. Ododo Commissions Boi’s Office to Boost Industrial Sector in Kogi

The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Monday in Lokoja commissioned the Kogi State Bank of Industry’s (BOI) office, at the State Investment House.

The Governor while speaking at the occasion today in Lokoja noted that the development is expected to transform Kogi State’s industrial sector and boost the state’s economic development.

Governor Ododo noted that he is not just commissioning a building but he is unveiling a future that would anchor on belief that is powered by the collective will of the people determined to become the economic nerve of the nation.

In his words “It is with all sense of fulfillment that I welcome the Bank of Industry to Lokoja, Kogi State. Your presence here is not just an investment but a statement that Kogi State is ready and open. With the Bank of Industry on our side and confidence, we cannot get it wrong any longer.”

The Governor who praised president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving special attention to Kogi State also assured the Leadership of the Bank of Industry that his administration would do everything possible to give them a conducive living in Kogi State.

In his remark, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry, Dr Olasupo Olusi stressed that the presence of the Bank of Industry in Kogi State
Would enhance the growth of business and industrial ventures.

He pointed out that it will also enable SMEs, Large Corporate Manufacturers, Cooperatives, Women and Youth led businesses and Industrial Ventures in the state to grow, create jobs and contribute meaningfully to the inclusive economic development of the State.

The establishment of the BOI office in Kogi State marks a major milestone in the state’s economic growth, providing small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, women-led ventures, and youth-driven innovations with increased access to finance.
