3 Things to be aware of before dating a colleague

See What you should know before you date a colleague:

1. Think twice: Meeting someone you like and want to start a relationship with might be amazing for your social life but it could spell disaster for your career. Are you ready for the advantages as well as the potential consequences? It is up to you.
2. Don’t break the law: A lot of romantic overtures can end in sexual harassment charges for you. You need to be very careful especially if you intend to date a subordinate at your place of work.
3. Discretion: If you and this worker are fine with going ahead, you can start something. This is not to say it is time to go public about it, other employees might not be comfortable with this move.
