UCL: Real Madrid’s Alexander-Arnold Reveals What He’ll Do If He Scores Against Liverpool

Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has said he would not celebrate if he scores against his former club, Liverpool, when both sides meet in the UEFA Champions League clash at Anfield on Tuesday night.

The England international, who joined Los Blancos from Liverpool during the summer transfer window, spent several successful years at the Merseyside club, winning both the Premier League and the Champions League titles.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated encounter, Alexander-Arnold admitted that facing Liverpool was inevitable and emotionally charged.

“Real Madrid against Liverpool? Everyone kind of knew that this fixture was going to happen. It was destined for that to happen,” he told The Touchline on X.

When asked how he would react if he found the back of the net, the 26-year-old made his stance clear:

“No, if I were to score, I wouldn’t celebrate. No.”

The right-back remains highly regarded among Liverpool supporters for his years of service and achievements at Anfield, and his comments reflect the respect he continues to hold for his former club.
