HAJJ 2026: MPWB Gives 1st Dec. Deadline for Fare Payment

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has fixed 1st of December 2025 as deadline for the payment of 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Board also released the reversed Hajj fare for 2026 Hajj as released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) amounting to Seven Million, Six Hundred and Ninety Six Thousand, Seven Hundred and Sixty Nine Naira, Seventy Six Kobo (N7,696,769.76k) Only.

This was contained in a statement from the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu stating that Intending Pilgrims through the Board should complete payment before the deadline to be part of the religious journey.

The Spokesperson of the Board, Lawal Aliyu explained that all payment to the Board must be only through a bank draft as no cash transaction would be allowed.

He said all payments for the 2026 Hajj exercise are to be concluded before the deadline to enable the Board to compile the final list of Intending Pilgrims and to remit all funds to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) as scheduled.

Also, it stated that the Board has initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for the provision of Feeding and a befitting accommodation in Makkah during the 2026 Hajj, in accordance with the board’s mandate to render best services to all Intending Pilgrims.
