A man identified as Andy Umaru, who previously praised Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia for marrying what he described as a “high-value, well-qualified woman,” has now expressed regret after becoming the target of online trolls following the singer’s recent altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
In a post shared on February 12, 2025, Andy had applauded 2Face’s decision to marry the Edo lawmaker after his marriage to Annie Macaulay ended, claiming it showed that “the world of men is healing.” He also criticised Annie, alleging that she lacked emotional intelligence and disrespected the singer.
“One thing I love about 2Face going for Honourable Natasha is that, finally men are beginning to go for high-value, well-qualified women—not just one ‘yeye’ girl that thinks a man should do everything just because she is beautiful. The world of men is healing,” he had written.
However, after the recent controversy between 2Face and Natasha, Andy’s post resurfaced and became the subject of mockery online. Reacting to the backlash, he admitted his regret.
“I will never put my mouth in man-and-woman matter again. 2Face and Natasha have put me in the mud; people are laughing at me now. Fear women, guys—fear women,” he wrote.
