Family announces burial arrangements for late actress Allwell Ademola

The family of late Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola, has announced the burial arrangements for the departed actress, expressing gratitude to the public for the support received since her passing.

In a statement shared online, the family disclosed that a Service of Songs and candlelight procession will be held in her honour on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

According to the statement, the Service of Songs is scheduled to take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, after which preparations for the candlelight procession will begin. The procession will run from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, covering the route from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and back to LTV. An artistes’ night will follow immediately after the procession, with closing remarks expected at 11:00 pm.

The family also announced that customised memorial T-shirts would be provided for attendees at the Service of Songs as part of efforts to celebrate the actress’s life.

The burial ceremony is scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos. The burial service will commence at 10:00 am.

Attendees have been advised to observe a dress code of a white shirt paired with jeans, with white designated as the official colour.

In the statement, the family thanked friends, colleagues and well-wishers for their prayers, love and unwavering support during the painful period.

They prayed for the peaceful repose of the actress’s soul and expressed hope that the family and her colleagues would be spared from sudden death.
