Kanayo Takes His Children to Pay Tribute to Late Parents for the First Time

Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has shared an emotional family moment after taking his children to visit the graves of his late parents for the first time.

The respected actor posted a touching video on his official Instagram page on Saturday, January 3, 2026, capturing the solemn visit. Kanayo explained that whenever he returns to his hometown, he makes it a personal tradition to stop at his parents’ graves to pray for the peaceful repose of their souls.

This time, he brought his sons along so they could observe the ritual and understand the importance of remembering one’s roots and honouring ancestors. According to the actor, the visit was intentional, aimed at teaching his children the value of family heritage and continuity.

Kanayo expressed hope that his children would one day uphold the tradition and remember him in the same way when he is no longer around.

The post struck a chord with fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom praised him for passing down family values, preserving cultural traditions, and keeping the memory of loved ones alive across generations.
