Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has reignited online drama after calling out fellow actress Rosy Meurer over a social media post made following the reconciliation between Olakunle Churchill and his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh.
Tonto Dikeh had announced over the weekend that she and Churchill had reconciled after years of estrangement, saying that after a decade of bitterness and broken communication, peace had been restored.
Shortly after the announcement, Rosy Meurer, who is now married to Churchill, shared a photo of herself on social media, describing herself as the “Queen of all Queens.” The post quickly drew backlash from some social media users.
Reacting in a now-deleted comment, Angela Okorie criticised Rosy’s caption, using a derogatory phrase that further escalated the controversy.
The exchange sparked mixed reactions online, with users debating the timing and tone of the post amid the sensitive nature of the reconciliation.
For context, Tonto Dikeh married Churchill in 2015, but the marriage ended two years later, amid allegations of domestic violence and irreconcilable differences, which Churchill denied.
With emotions still high following the reconciliation, Angela Okorie’s remarks have reopened public debate, keeping the long-running Churchill–Tonto–Rosy saga in the spotlight once again.
