YARI DONATES N12.5M TO FAMILIES OF ACCIDENT VICTIM

Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara state has donated N12.5m and 320 bags of assorted food items to ten families of accident victims who lost their lives in a recent road mishap on their way to Nassarawa in Nassarawa state.

In addition, the governor also donated to the bereaved families, 320 bags of assorted food items to lessen their pains and sufferings.

The Special Adviser to the governor on Information and Media Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara disclosed that Governor Yari announced the donation while going round to condoling the bereaved families.

Dosara said the ten victims met their fateful end on their way to Nassawa state for a wedding Fatiha when the accident occurred, killing ten, while 5 others sustained various degrees of injuries and were receiving medical attention.

The governor was accompanied during the visit by the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon Sanusi Garba Rikiji, commissioners, Special Advisers, and many other important personalities.
