Osibanjo survives Chopper crash in kogi

Vice president, Yemi Osibanjo had a close save with death on Saturday when the propeller of the helicopter he was travelling in suddenly pulled off on landing at the Kabba township stadium in kogi state.

It was gathered that the Vice President’s helicopter crash landed at about 2.22pm at the township stadium as the propeller of the helicopter suddenly pulled off .

Although, the vice president came out alive from the incident,experts are trying to establish the remote cause of the minor accident as it was gathered that the pilot of the helicopter might have found it difficult to land due to the dusty terrain of the stadium.

It was learnt that immediately the incident happened, the Vice president was said to have been immediately evacuated from the scene of the incident into a waiting vehicle and thereafter driven in convoy of other political office holders to the palace of Obaro of Kabba where he paid a courtesy call.

While the vice president later addressed some party supporters at St Augudtine ‘s college, in Kabba, Osibanjo was billed to launch the trader moni in the town, from where he is expected to visit Okene and Idah in Central and East District of the state respectfully before he will returns to Abuja.
