Must read

Vice president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo who cheated death in a chopper crash at Kabba in Kogi state on Saturday said his spiritual master, Daddy Enock Adeboye saw it coming, describing his survival and 9 others as act God.

Professor Osibanjo disclosed this during a Thanksgiving service at City of Grace, the RCCG regional headquarters, Lokoja, it’s to the glory of God for him to witness people giving his testimony.

“God made it possible, only him can take the glory, not man, if not today, a screaming headline will have read, Osibanjo, 9others perish in chopper crash”, he said.

Professor Osibanjo stated that before he embarked upon the journey, he had met his father in the Lord, the General overseer of RCCG, Daddy Enock Adeboye, saying, to his surprise for the first time, the prayers he released on him confused him, noting, it was after the crash that the meaning of his prayers dawned on him.

” My Daddy in the Lord said God Almighty, I want you to protect this boy. You know he is dear to my heart. This prayers confused me. But when the crash occurred, it occurred to me that the Lord was speaking through him”, he said.

Professor Osibanjo who said he was with his blood brother,(same father/mother), a minister and 7 others in the crashed chopper stated that their survival is an indication that the country, kogi and the people will go to their next level.

Corroborating the vice president’s divine connection for their safety , Senator Smart Adeyemi, the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for west senatorial district of kogi state said it was a very shocking and stressful, “but we had every reason to thank God”.

“We saw in practical terms the manifestation of God, they that trust in the Lord shall be like mount Zions which cannot be removed, but abide for ever. That is a manifestation that with God all things are possible. We thank God that the vice president and his entourage survived. We are here to celebrate him that the word of God liveth forever” he stressed.

He stated that what happened is “what would have consumed all the lives of those that were there, not just those on board the chopper, but those of us who were around, because the Chopper’s propeller hit two other vehicles, after removal and every one of us would have been affected”.

“As a matter of fact, after the crash I rushed there with others, the heat that the engine generated was so intense that we ran back, we could not stand the heat, not to talk of the occupants. You know what could have happened when you have such intense heat coming of a crashed engine. Simply put, we saw the manifestation of the word of God, the power of God and that with God nothing is impossible. It was God that helped us that they all came out unhurt”, senator Adeyemi expressed .

He said for every Nigerian, “especially those of us from Kogi State , we have every reason to thank God and to celebrate it that we serve a living God”.

He said Nigerians value their own no matter the heat of on going politicking, saying, “Politics aside when it comes to the issue of life everybody starts thinking beyond the ordinary, they start thinking spiritually. People spoke the way the should speak. So they have every reason to set partisan politics aside and speak from the point of statesmen”.

The Thanksgiving attracted political appointees, church members and members of the public.
