Dawakin Tofa L.G Council Candidates Election Successful-Delegates

The congress that brought candidates Vying for  various positions has been described as fair and successful where the local government council chairman and his 11 councilors were elected in an orderly manner.
Speaking to Daybreak News after the occasion, some delegates disclosed that the election was fair because all the candidates were selected on merit in which many of them has been tested in their first tenure where they spent three years in office.

The election which was held at Sheik Nasir Kabara Housing estate Tumfafi was attended by the kano state governor Dr, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who hailed from the local government and other top government officials and the members of the committee that was constituted to hold the election.

In his remark, governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said that ” APC is the best political party in Nigeria, and it has good plans for the progress of the country especially at present when the globe is witnessing changes in every sector, and i called on the electorates  to vote for APC in the forthcoming local government council election that was scheduled to hold 16th February, 2021″. He concluded.

Similarly, the chairman of Dawakin Tofa local government council, who is also reelected to contest for the second tenure, Alhaji Ado Tambai Kwa said that they would continue to serve for the provision of more infrastructure that would benefits the people of all categories, and thanked the delegates that convene and elected them to contest for the second time.

Most of the delegates that had a chat with our correspondent disclosed that the election was done in accordance with Democratic recommendations where all the delegates accepts their respective candidates based on merit.
