‘Kukah spoke bitter truth’ – Fani-Kayode reacts to Bishop Kukah comment on Buhari

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister, has backed Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Most Rev. Mathew Hassan Kukah over his Christmas day message.

Fani-Kayode said Bishop Kukah’s remark was the “bitter truth.”

Bishop Kukah, in his Christmas Day message had accused President Muhammadu Buhari-led government of nepotism.

The clergyman said there would have been a coup if a non-Northern Muslim had become president and did some of the things Buhari was doing.

Bishop Kukah’s message had stirred up mixed reactions from Nigerians.

However, the former minister, in a tweet wrote: “Bishop Kukah has courageously spoken the bitter truth and called a spade a spade.

“Those that are not comfortable with his words and are not ready to accept that truth should go and jump in the lagoon or hug a transformer.

“Kukah has said what I have been saying for the last 5 years!”
