The united business women association of Nigeria and Diaspora(UBWA) has conferred Hajiya Zainab Jamil Gwamna, the wife of KEDCO MD with the award of excellence for her humanitarian services at the federal capital territory, Abuja recently.
Presenting the award to Hajiya Zainab Jamil Gwamna, the chairperson of the business women association, Hon. Mrs Nkiruka Duru said that we decided to honour you because you have demonstrated that your patriotism and selfless services to the general public needs to be rewarded by presenting this prestigious award to you at this moment”. She lamented.
She added that Hajiya Zainab Jamil Gwamna is a well recognised woman who is always trying to assist the needy especially the less privileged without bias, where the association of business women decided to honour her as thanksgiving as the executive chairlady, family care foundation that is working towards the progress of the needy.
In his remark shortly after the colourful ceremony, the media aide to the MD KEDCO, Ibrahim Sani Shawai described Hajiya Zainab Jamil Gwamna as an iron lady whose policies remained for the development of the people of all categories, whose philanthropist activities been recognised and deserved more honours.
