Bandits intensfy terror in Kaduna, kill villager, abduct 7 others in daylight

Armed bandits have reportedly killed one villager, abducted 7 others including three women at Birnin Gwari Local Government of Kaduna State.


The incident happened at Anguwar Gajere village under Kutemashi Ward of the LGA ‎on Saturday, according to sources.


It was also gathered that the bandits rustled over 50 cow from the same village in same operation.

A resident Mohammed Birnin Gwari told journalsts on phone that the bandits arrived on motorcycles around 1:pm in the afternoon.” Three women, four men and a number of cow were rustled by the bandits after killing one person ,” Mohammadu Birnin Gwari said.

A former Councillor of the ward Adamu Kutemashi also confirmed the incident, saying the women were young girls.


The State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident as the Public Relations Officer, ASP ‎Jalige Mohammed promised to get details from the area before commenting
