60 People Killed By Bandits In Sokoto

Over 60 corpses were confirmed dead, many hospitalized when bandits attacked Goronyo weekly central market, Sunday evening.

As at the time of compiling this report, reliable source who left Goronyo to Sokoto due to lack of communication for some time in those areas said he witnessed the count of over 60 dead persons displayed before he left the scene.

State Vice-chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Sokoto Council, Musa Ubandawaki has several times called on the Goronyo Council Chairman, Alhaji AbdulWahab Yahaya for comments but could not pick the call for unknown reason.
