Abuja Territory guided by Laws – Perm Sec

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mr. Olusade Adesola has said that the Capital City is guided by Laws in all it’s operations and regulations.

Adesola made this known on Wednesday when the Speker and some principal officers of the Ondo State House of Assembly paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Garki I District.

He emphazied that the FCT Administration under the leadership of the FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, ensures that all its actions are in tandem with the provisions of the law.

While commending the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun and his entourage for the visit, said the Permanent Secretary said that he is prepared to give back to his community where he was natured and taught the virtue of discipline and dedication to duty.

He advised Nigerians, who are well placed in the society to always think and act in the interest of the masses, especially the downtrodden.

Adesola recalled the food items released from the strategic grains reserve by President Muhammadu Buhari as palliative for distribution to the less privileged in Ondo State and noted that, he ensured that the poor people in the state were the beneficiaries of the scheme.

According to him, as a public officer, he places high primum on issues affecting the masses and commended the FCT Minister for always standing with the poor in all policies of the FCT Administration.

Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly and leader of the delegation, Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun, said members of the 9th Ondo State Assembly were in Abuja to establish relationship with the FCT Administration and to see some of the good work it has been doing.

The Speaker commended the FCT Administration for the provision and maintenance of standard infrastructure in Abuja, saying that the environment is peaceful.

He said the Ondo State House of Assembly is proud to be associated with leadership of the FCT Administration, starting from their own, the Permanent Secretary, to the FCT Minister, to whom he paid glowing tribute for spearheading the generational change.

The Speaker was accompanied on the visit by the Majority and Minority Leaders, some members as well as the Clark of the State House of Assembly.
