Adamawa Resident cries out to FG Over Perenial Flood in Adamawa

When our reporter visited some of the areas affected by flood, report that many places were destroyed, people were seen looking for affected houses restless

Kisinja Bukar a Yola resident experience dissatisfiction with the government attitude, however said the Adamawa State Government cannot do it alone.

He appealed to the Federal Government to come to their aid as soon as possible.
According to him, he could not assertain the level of destruction caused to him by the Wednesday flood, but at the money he has lost everything

The Wednesday flood affected communities mostly in Yola South Local Government Area and to the extent in Yola North, including Tashan Sani, where a particular family house collapsed, were animals were seen taken away by the flood. Also, Yolde pate was not left behind, as traders lost hundreds of bags of grains in a famous grains market.

The Patron of the Timber market Tashan Sani. Kenneth Ogoduna, said ” the flood caused a lot of damage in their businesses and have lost over million’s of naira.
However Adamu Zubairu said they used to experience flood for many years but this year came with surprised and shocked as it caught them unawares
Also affected by the flood includes Bachure, Kofare, Damilu and Yolde Pate, with some residents still counting their losses of damage.
