Advocacy for a better Nigeria should go Beyond Religion – Rev. Pam

By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has charged Nigerians to take advocacy for a better Nigeria beyond religion.
Pam gave this charge when a delegation from The Father’s House Reality TV Project team paid him a visit at the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja, yesterday, 31st, March, 2022.

He noted that although the role of the mass media is very key and cannot be contested Christians should be mindful of the programmes they watch and listen to in the media.

He stressed that aside from the positive impact on the society, the media has also polluted the respected culture of the people, as he called on
Nigerians to see beyond their faith, and hope for a new Nigeria.
“Let us come together to solve the problem facing the country regardless of our faith,”
It is our duty to bring back our great culture, he admonished.

While commending the Father’s House Reality TV show team for their great initiative, he said that the programme is not only for Christians, but for all Nigerians.

Leader of the delegation, Mr. David Ibrahim, said that their visit to the Commission to officially inform the Executive Secretary of the debut of the reality TV programmme for Christian youths.

Ibrahim said,” being a Christian base organization, it is imperative to visit and inform the Commission about the forth coming programme.”
He hinted that, the Fathers House reality show is the first faith based reality TV show in Nigeria which would consist of 13 selected Christian youths from different denominations.
It is a 40days programme for over 200 million cumulative viewers , adding that they would not disappoint Christians with the content of the programme.
