AFCS Kano Held 4th Inter-Squadron Sports Competition, Awards Prizes To Winners

Airforce Comprehensive School Kano held 4th Inter-Squadron sports competition colourfully, where all sporting activities were played with invited schools in attendance.

Our correspondent who witnessed the closing ceremony reported that the competition was impressive where all the invited guests also participated at the school’s ultr-modern play ground.

Earlier in his welcome address, the school’s commandant, Wing Commander M. Garba announced that the sports competition was suspended for some years due to Covid-19 Pandemic until this year when there is safety across the globe in terms of healthcare.

Wing Commander M. Garba added that ” we are happy to hold the school’s sports competition this time in order to maintain unity and progress as well as wellbeing of our students especially when the vacation is approaching, and we appreciate on how the dignitaries stormed the venue of the sports arena and witnessed the events”. He lamented.

Furthermore, the commandant thanked the Head of service and acting Chief of staff to the Kano state governor Malam Usman Muhammad who despite his tight schedule, was able to attends the event, and commended all the serving and retired military officers and men of the Nigerian Airforce, Parents, guardians and all those who attended the sports competition.
