AIG Admonish Officers And Men To Maintain Morals Standards During And After Ramadan, Easter

The Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 10 Headquarters Sokoto, AIG Bello Sani Dalijjan advise officers and men of the Zone to maintain high moral standard during the Ramadan period and beyond.

He implore them to be God fearing in carrying out their assigned duties as Police Officers and to ensure every of their actions is justified in accordance with the provisions of the Police Acts and Regulations guided by principle of morality.

He also felicitate with the good people of the Zone comprising of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States on the 2023 Easter Celebrations, assuring everyone of adequate security and to ensure hitch free celebrations.

The AIG therefore warned all the Commissioners of Police within Sokoto, kebbi and zamfara state commands, Area Commanders, DPO’s and Head of Departments HOD’s to take proactive measures and beef up securities to ensure visibility policing in line with the community policing guidelines and modules, the deployment of Police personnels to all keys and vulnerable points throughout their respective States and also to prevent any forms of crimes and criminalities.

The statement by the Zonal Public Relations Officer ASP Usman Yaqub Muhammad said the Zone, in collaboration with other sister security agencies has put in place measures to ensure peaceful Easter Celebrations.

Officers are therefore warned to leave no stone unturned as regard to crime prevention and similarly adviced officers to be alive to their various tasking responsibilities

The AIG further enjoins every citizen to be security conscious and report suspecting incidences or happenings observed in their localities to the nearest Police Stations for immediate action.

He also use this medium to advice Parents to call on the attention of their wards towards unnecessary use of knockouts and any other materials that may triggers public disturbance and to remain law abiding members of the society.
