Air Peace Launches Direct Lagos-London Flights

Air Peace officially kicked off its Lagos-London flight operations on Saturday, marking a significant milestone for the airline.

The commencement of the service follows the airline’s announcement last month during a prelaunch forum in February, where plans for direct flight operations to London were unveiled.

In November, Air Peace Chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema, revealed that the airline had obtained the necessary permits, including the Foreign Carrier Operator Permit and Third Country Operator Permit, enabling it to operate flights to Europe and the United Kingdom.

The news was shared on Air Peace’s official handle, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in making the launch a success.

In a tweet, the airline stated, “London service has commenced, and we’re delighted to have achieved yet another feat in our mission to provide peaceful connectivity across cities. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this launch.”

The inaugural flight to London was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anita, among others.
