The World Bank has officially endorsed the appointment of Aminu Gidado Yusha’u, formerly the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, as the substantive Project Coordinator of the Kano Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (Kano-ACReSAL) project.
The announcement has been met with widespread excitement and optimism among staff members, who described the development as a timely and well-deserved recognition of Yusha’u’s dedication, competence, and unwavering commitment to the project’s goals.
Colleagues lauded his deep understanding of the project landscape and expressed confidence in his ability to lead with vision, integrity, and purpose.
During his maiden meeting with the management staff of Kano-ACReSAL, Yusha’u expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Kano State Government and the World Bank for the confidence reposed in him.
He pledged to uphold the project’s core objectives with a renewed sense of responsibility, while strengthening collaboration and driving impactful results across all components.
As he officially assumes leadership, the entire Kano-ACReSAL team has extended their warmest congratulations and pledged full support to ensure continued progress and greater achievements under his guidance.
