AMVCA Unveils 2025 Nominations

The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) has officially announced the nominations for its 2025 edition, celebrating outstanding achievements in the African film industry.

The prestigious annual awards recognize excellence among filmmakers, actors, and content creators who have significantly contributed to the industry over the past year.

This year’s nominations feature notable Nigerian actors, including Uzor Arukwe, Adedimeji Lateef, and Chioma Chukwuka.

Adedimeji Lateef earned a nomination for Best Lead Actor for his performance in the biopic Lisabi, while Uzor Arukwe is in the running for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Suspicion. Actress Chioma Chukwuka secured a nomination for Best Lead Actress for her role in Seven Doors.
