The All Progressives Congress (APC )Like Minds Political Forum has condemned in strong terms, the call by the self-acclaimed Chairman, North Central Zone Stakeholders Forum of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga for the endorsement  of the Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang for 2027.

This was signed by   Habibu Musa Sati, the

National Secretary APC Like Minds Political Forum and made available to newsmen in Jos.

According to a statement, the group described the call as reckless, malicious self-serving and a calculated attempt to rubbish, not only the reputation of the party in the State and National, but a calculated attempt to derail the genuine efforts of its stakeholders to reposition the party in the State.

They noted that such a careless statement emanating from the so-called Chairman does not have the consent of the party, either at the zone or the state level, pointing out that the APC have never contemplated doing such.

The decision of the group came after an extraordinary emergency meeting of the forum in Jos, the Plateau State capital, noting that Zazzaga’s action is a clear case of desperation , using the party platform to seek for unnecessary attention to satisfy the whims and caprices of his paymasters.

The Group passed a vote of confidence  on Senator Simon Bako Lalong and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Professor Nentawe Yilwatda for their purposeful leadership which ensure the unity of the party, progress and development through its inclusive approach.

Thy explained that the APC in the state has eminent qualified personalities to led the state comes 2027.

The statement highlighted the fact that a Court of competent jurisdiction had earlier ruled that the North Central Forum lacked the moral right to make any pronouncement because it is unregistered and unrecognized association.

” One wonders whose interest is Zazzagas, one who has not voted APC  in the last 2023 General election, trying to pursue to woe Governor Mutfwang. The party has more eminently people who are ready to throw their hearts into the ring come 2027″

The party has a good outing in the last Presidential election where it has more than a required percentage by law of the twenty four states under the leadership of Senator Simon Bako Lalong.

The APC Like Minds Political Forum commended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda  for implementing several significant reforms aimed at enhancing the efficiency and impacting positively on Nigerians across the Country.

” It’s curious, for someone who claimed to be a member of APC  to agitate for a candidate from the opposition party to vie for the number one seat of the State in which the APC stands a better chance to reclaime,  after the fiasco of 2023″

The APC Like Minds Political Forum explained that it is on record that the self-acclaimed Chairman of the North Central APC Stakeholders Forum is always enmeshed in one controversy or the other,  which questions his sincerity and integrity as a member of the APC.

The group commended the Bature’s led plateau State Executive for their commitment to the party’s growth and for constituting a three member Committee to investigate Zazzagas action and call on the committee to ensure he is punish according to the party constitution if found wanting.

It regretted that the actions of Saleh Zazzaga in the past has put his reputation at stake, after asking the current APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje to resign his office for somebody in the North Central to occupy, only for him to endorsed the same person in questionable circumstances.

They called on the party faithful and the public to disregard the call, stressing that it is the handiwork of detractors, who are bent on causing disaffection in the party which is waxing stronger and ready to reclaim its stolen mandate come 2027.
