Balarabe Abbas Lawal Faints During Ministerial Evaluation.

During the Senate’s ministerial screening, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, a nominee, collapsed on Wednesday due to exhaustion. Concerned senators rushed to his aid, calling for water and sugar to revive him. Senate President Godswil Akpabio requested immediate medical attention, urging cameramen to leave the chamber. The nominee was swiftly taken to the hospital, and his current condition remains undisclosed. This incident occurred as Abbas Lawal, along with Jamila Bio Ibrahim from Kwara State and Mr Ayodele Olawande from Ondo State, underwent the screening process.
