Bayelsa Swan Hails Oredipe’s Afn Appointment

The Bayelsa State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) joyfully congratulates Dr. Kola Oredipe on his appointment as Auditor of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).

Dr. Oredipe was appointed to the AFN board by President Tonobok Okowa following his reelection on Thursday in Abuja.

In a statement by Bayelsa SWAN Chairman, Mrs. Timinepre Ohia, and Secretary, Mr. Patrick Ndubuisi, the association hailed Dr. Oredipe’s unwavering passion for sports, which led to this prestigious appointment.

“We are thrilled to honor Dr. Kola Oredipe for this well-deserved milestone,” the statement declared. “Your dedication and expertise in athletics have earned you this esteemed position.”

The association commended his contributions, noting, “Your remarkable efforts in advancing track and field in Bayelsa are a testament to your vision and leadership.”

Bayelsa SWAN expressed strong confidence in Dr. Oredipe’s ability to make a difference, stating, “We wish you success in your new role and pledge our full support to help you excel.”
