BBNaija ‘All-Stars’: Alex and Cee-C’s Lingering Feud

By Daniel Edu

Five years after the conclusion of the Big Brother Naija ‘Double Wahala’ edition, Cynthia Nwadiora, known as Cee-C, and Alex Asogwa, popularly known as Alex Unusual, find themselves at odds once again during the ‘All-Stars’ edition of the show.

Returning to the BBNaija house, Alex and Cee-C reignited memories of their heated clash in 2018 as they engaged in a heated argument over the script for the wager task presentation, which Alex had written.

Though the two had previously moved on from the infamous quarrel during the reunion, it appears that Cee-C still sees Alex as a thorn in her side.

The organizers of the ‘All-Stars’ season have seemingly paired former housemates with clashes and intriguing relationship dynamics from previous seasons, including the likes of Angel and Cross, Whitemoney and Pere, Doyin and Adekunle, and Mercy Eke and Ike, among others.

Despite sharing a warm hug at the unveiling of the housemates, Cee-C has declared that she is not willing to reconcile with Alex, even if it takes a hundred years. During a conversation with the Head of House, Adekunle, Cee-C expressed her lack of fondness for Alex and stated that she believes Alex has not changed her personality.

Cee-C said, “As far as I’m concerned, I don’t like her [Alex], and I don’t think I will ever like her even in the next 100 years. I don’t want to f*ck with her. It’s that simple. Even here, I told myself that whatever energy you bring, that’s the energy I will return. I will just act like I don’t know anyone anymore here. And I have seen that she is still the person she was in 2018…Alex is someone who just thinks that she can make my life uncomfortable.”

In contrast, Alex seems unfazed by Cee-C’s continuous ranting, and many viewers of the show have praised her maturity in handling the situation.

About Alex:

1. The reality TV star is from Enugu State.

2. Alex began her career in the entertainment industry as a 6-month-old child model for a Nestle baby food campaign in 1996 and gained prominence after her appearance on BBNaija.

3. She won the Miss Eastern Nigeria beauty pageant in 2016.

4. Alex further honed her directing and content creation talents through studies at the New York Film Academy.

5. She was rumored to have had a romantic involvement with her fellow BBNaija contestant, Tobi Bakre, but she dismissed the rumors, asserting that there was nothing between them.

6. Alex was also subject to a rumor suggesting that she had an abortion involving ace Nigerian comedian AY, which she vehemently denied.

7. In 2021, Alex nearly got married to a man named Andre, but the wedding was called off. She cited Andre’s bullying and violent behavior as the reasons for the cancellation, explaining that he would hit her at the slightest provocation.
