Be Careful with People’s Emotions; Not Everyone Will Let You Go Unpunished” – Chiwetalu Agu on Story of Lady Poisoning Ex-Boyfriend

By Abigail Philip David

Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu has weighed in on the viral story of a woman who allegedly poisoned her ex-boyfriend and his friends using pepper soup. Taking to his Instagram page, Agu shared an important lesson, reminding people to be cautious with others’ emotions, as not everyone they hurt will simply let it go.

In his post, he advised young people to avoid relationships if they are not serious about them. “It’s crucial to understand that not everyone has a forgiving heart,” Agu noted. Although he clarified that he doesn’t defend the woman’s actions, he pointed out that once someone is dead, they can no longer share their side of the story.

“We need to learn an important lesson in this life. It isn’t everyone you hurt that will let you go scot-free,” he wrote. “I keep telling this younger generation that if you’re not ready for a relationship or something serious, why not focus on other things? Mind how you play with people’s emotions. Not everyone has a forgiving heart. I’m not saying she did the right thing, but from another angle, a dead man tells no tales.”

Fans and followers agreed with the actor’s perspective, sharing their thoughts in the comment section:

– Bwopro.ng commented, “My ex almost took my life years back, and his life has since been damaged. I haven’t even cursed him yet. Imagine if I did!”
– Funky1040 wrote, “Daddy has spoken well.”
– Shallreign added, “A terrible incident. The wise man has spoken! Not everyone you hurt will let it slide.”
– Tom_sin remarked, “Well said, sir. Some people just don’t forgive.”
– Big Josh20 praised, “This man is wise, abeg.”
– The Naysh Page wrote, “Well said, Papa anyi. The legendary Chief Chiwetalu.”
– Ogo Jossy echoed, “Our daddy on point.”
– Chika Peace59 added, “Well spoken, sir.”

Many followers expressed agreement with the actor’s warning, emphasizing the importance of treating people with respect and caution.
