BENEFICIARIES, PARENTS LAUD GIANT STRIDES OF ENUGU SOUTH CHAIRMAN, HON. BARR. NKWUO


…As chairman reiterates commitment to improvement of accessible education

As against the constant campaign of calumny on the Council Chairman of the Enugu South Local Government Area, Barr. Chimezie Robinson Nkwuo, beneficiaries and parents of his scholarship scheme, has commended the giant strides of the chairman in the council.

According to the beneficiaries, Barr. Chimezie is quite a passionate leader who champions quality education through his scholarship schemes especially for the good people of Enugu South Local Government Area.

Further report, has it that on Tuesday, Barr. Nkwuo, charged beneficiaries of his University
Scholarship Scheme to be focused and hardworking in their studies and uphold good reputations in their various schools in pursuit of their educational carrier so as to justify the huge investment made for their benefit.

He made this plea at the Council Secretariat where he received and hosted some of the beneficiaries including their parents who came in solidarity to appreciate the unflinching support of the Chairman especially on the wellbeing of their children.

Nkwuo said: “The decision to carter for their school fees while in University is driven by his personal and administrative understanding that capacity building (education), is a pivotal key to achieving great success in life.

“My goal, is to raise not less than 100 persons academically, starting from First degree down to Master’s and PhD stage. I pray and wish all selected students well as they continue to study and strive for academic excellence in their various field of studies and respective institutions.” He added.

Also speaking on behalf of the scholarship committee, the Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Ugwu who disclosed that the scholarship scheme is no small feat, specially thanked the Council Boss as he confirms that tuition fees of all the beneficiaries, has been paid in full in to their respective institutions.

Meanwhile a beneficiary, Miss Okonkwo Jennifer who spoke on behalf of beneficiaries, described Barr. Nkwuo as a Godsent while appreciating his generosity towards mankind and also for the opportunity to individually study any course of choice.

She said: ” We are thankful to the Council Chairman, Barr. Chimezie Robinson Nkwuo for his generosity. We promise to make not just Enugu South proud, but also the council chairman and Enugu State at large. We are most grateful to you and we sincerely pray that God Almighty, continues to uplift you higher and higher in life.”

Finally, parents of the beneficiaries led by Elder Jacob Odoh, expressed gratitude, prayed for longlife, more leadership heights and political open doors for the council chairman.
