Benue Governor-Elect Implored to Build Synergy With FG

Former Chief of Staff to Governor Samuel Ortom who is now a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State, Mr Terwase Orbunde has Implored the Benue Governor-Elect, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia to build synergy with the Federal Government for the benefit of citizens of the state.

Mr Orbunde who is also a former Governorship Aspirant on the platform of the APC, made the call when he led a delegation of Kwande stakeholders on a solidarity visit to Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia at his residence in Makurdi, contending that though he contested the position but since zoning didn’t favor him, he considered it important to identify with the Governor-Elect on his resounding victory, describing it as the will of God.

Mr Orbunde who acknowledged the numerous challenges ahead of the Governor-Elect, however noted that God willing, he would surmount the challenges for faster development. He enjoined people of the state to support the incoming Governor to enable him provide true dividends of democracy to the people.

In his response, the Governor-Elect, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia lauded the the Kwande delegation over their solidarity visit. He however regretted the circumstances that led to their non participation in the just concluded Governorship election in the state.

hands who would add value to his administration to ensure that the yearnings and aspirations of Benue citizens are met. Ends
