Benue Govt to Generate Database Towards Youths Empowerment

Benue State Government has embarked on an enrollment exercise of youths between the ages of 17 and 45 years aimed at generating a robust and comprehensive database of the Benue youths.
Commissioner in charge of Ministry of Youths, Sports and Creativity, Hon Terkimbi Ikyange, who made this disclosure in a press statement, explained that the program would enable the state government to effectively design both short and long term policies and programs.
Mr Ikyange noted that the exercise will cater for the needs and aspirations of the Benue youths in the area of employment opportunities, job creation, youth empowerment, skills acquisition as well as other welfare packages, which will soon be rolled out.
The statement reads in part,  “youths of Benue origin from ages 17-30, and from 31-45 are mandated to sign up for the date enrollment program by logging into the Benue youth date form portal to fill in their information as required”, Ikyange noted.
The Commissioner, Implored the youth to collect forms from the office of youth development/sports Officers of the ministry who are in all the 23 Local Governments,  NYSC Corps members deployed to assist in the date collection exercise among others.
He enjoined Benue youth to promptly enroll for the data documentation program, warning that only those validly documented with the ministry will stand to benefit from the youth  developmental initiative of the state government.
