Bode takes over as new Police Commissioner in Delta

Adeyinka Adeleke Bode has resumed duty as the new Commissioner of Police in Delta State Command.

Acting Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Chuks Orisewezie disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen.

The new Commissioner of Police promised to build on the existing security mechanism on ground towards enthroning the reign of peace and security in Delta State.

He advised members of the public to always cooperate with the Police and other security agencies at all times by availing them with necessary information that could help nip every crime in the bud.

In his remarks, during the handing over, the outgoing DIG, Anthony Ogbizi Michael thanked the State Government and the people of Delta State for their cooperation with him just as he urged them to extend the same cooperation to his successor.

we learnt that the new CP is taking over from DIG Anthony Ogbizi Michael who has been redeployed to the Force Headquarters due to his elevation to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police DIG.
