Boko Haram Attacks Leave 12 Dead and 1 Abducted in Borno

Suspected Boko Haram militants, dressed in military uniforms, carried out an attack in Gatamarwa and Tsiha communities, Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State. The assailants killed 12 people and abducted one individual. The Borno State Police Public Relations Officer, Nahum Daso Kenneth, confirmed the incident, reporting that 12 corpses were recovered, and two others were injured. The attackers targeted mourners returning from Gatamarwa and later struck the nearby Tsiha community, where they killed three people, abducted a young lady, and burned houses after looting foodstuffs. The police commissioner and security heads have initiated a discreet investigation into the matter.
