“Good afternoon all, I hope you are all well and keeping safe?

As you will have observed I have kept away from the office since last week. I write to let you know that I started feeling ill last week Thursday with malaria like symptoms last week.

I also started coughing and invited NCDC to test me as a precaution. I got a call this morning confirming the result is COVID positive. I am just leaving now to the Gwagwalada isolation center for treatment and hope to be back in two weeks.

The contact phasing team have asked me for details of persons I have been in contact with in the past two weeks. Many of you may have interacted with me during our various meetings. I would advise that you also get yourselves tested as soon as possible. The public health team May also try to make contact with you through my PA.

Please take every precaution to protect yourselves and each other.
Stay safe. Raymond Dokpesi Jr.”
