Breaking: Bandits Abduct Woman and Three Children in Abuja

In a distressing incident, bandits targeted the Zone 5 segment of the Kubwa Extension 2 Relocation Estate along Arab Road in the Federal Capital Territory, kidnapping a woman and her three children, including a six-month-old baby.

The attack occurred between 8pm and 9pm on Sunday, December 10, causing panic in the area as the gunmen shot indiscriminately.

A resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, disclosed that such kidnappings have become a disturbingly common event in the area during December. Another resident expressed concern over the lack of adequate security, emphasizing that the latest incident involved the abduction of an entire family.

As of press time, the FCT Police Command had not issued an official statement on the matter. The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, pledged to investigate and provide information promptly when contacted by our correspondent.

Efforts to reach the FCT Commissioner of Police, Haruna Garba, for comments were unsuccessful as calls went unanswered.
