BREAKING: Many trapped as building collapses in Kano

A distressing incident has unfolded in Kano State as a building collapse in the Kuntau area of Gwale Local Government Area has left numerous individuals trapped, according to reports from Daily Trust on Friday.

While the exact number of individuals trapped remains unknown, sources have indicated that at least 11 people are currently stuck beneath the rubble.

Rescue efforts are underway, with emergency responders working diligently to extract those trapped. Sadly, some casualties have been reported, with several bodies already recovered from the site.

Amidst the tragedy, hope remains as two individuals have been successfully rescued and promptly transported to the hospital by officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps.

The situation is rapidly evolving, and authorities are continuing their efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of all those affected by this devastating incident.
