BREAKING:** Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyers Quit Terrorism Case

Lead counsel and former Attorney-General of the Federation, Kanu Agabi (SAN), on Thursday withdrew from representing IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu in his ongoing terrorism trial at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

All other senior advocates on the defence team also withdrew, with Kanu telling the court he would represent himself for now.

Justice James Omotosho offered to assign him a lawyer, but Kanu declined, insisting the court lacked jurisdiction to try him.

The court had earlier scheduled six consecutive days, starting October 23, for Kanu to open and close his defence, during which he listed several prominent Nigerians as witnesses.
