BREAKING: Renowned Islamic Scholar Muyideen Bello Passes Away

The Muslim community has been plunged into mourning following the death of renowned Islamic scholar, Alhaji Muyideen Bello.

Born in 1940 in Ibadan, Alhaji Bello was widely respected for his deep knowledge, impactful teachings, and unwavering dedication to Islamic scholarship, which spanned decades.

The news of his passing was announced on Friday morning by another prominent Islamic scholar, Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah.

Confirming the sad news, popular cleric and Islamic singer Alhaji Basit Olarenwaju, popularly known as *Aponle Anabi,* paid tribute to the 84-year-old scholar on his official Facebook page, sharing an image of the late cleric accompanied by tearful emojis.

While the exact details of his death remain unclear, Alhaji Muyideen Bello’s passing marks the end of a profound legacy. Over the years, he shaped the lives of countless individuals with his wisdom, spiritual guidance, and leadership within the Muslim community.

Local media outlets in Oyo State have also confirmed the demise of the revered cleric, further highlighting the deep loss felt by the community.
