Breaking: Shettima Leads 145th NEC Meeting in Abuja

Vice President Kashim Shettima is chairing the 145th National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja.

The session commenced with an opening prayer led by Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, the newest member of the council, following the recitation of the national anthem.

Attendees include state governors, some deputy governors, and members of President Bola Tinubu’s economic team. Discussions are expected to focus on critical economic matters, including plans for the 2025 fiscal year.
