Breaking: Sporadic Shooting As Aregbesola Loyalists Gather For APC Congress In Osun.

There were heavy gunshots on Saturday as loyalists of former Governor of Osun state and current Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola gathered at Popular Ladsol pure water, Ogo Oluwa , Osogbo for the state Congress of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Some armed political thugs had invaded the venue of the congress, shooting repeatedly to scare away Aregbesola loyalists.

Members of the Osun Progressive TOP caucus believe to be the loyalists of the former Governor had organised parallel Congress at the Ogo Oluwa area of Osogbo.
