BREAKING: Truck Collides with BRT Bus on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A truck collided with a Lagos State BRT bus at Ibafo bus stop along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway early Saturday morning.

Our correspondent at the scene reported that the accident occurred just before 6 am. Federal Road Safety Corps and Police officials at the scene declined to comment, stating that only their Public Relations Officers were authorized to speak.

According to eyewitnesses, several passengers on the BRT bus sustained injuries. The BRT bus was stationary, loading passengers at the bus stop when the truck, carrying cows and heading to Lagos, rammed into it, pushing the bus off the road and causing damage to nearby shops and kiosks.

The truck has been towed away from the immediate scene to prevent further traffic disruptions.
