CALABAR AKIN LIONS CLUB ELECT OFFICERS

The Calabar Akin Lions Club, Calabar has elected board of Directors and other officials.

The event also witnessed the Investiture of Lion Emana Asuquo Out as the 11th and 2nd female President for 2019/2020 service year. New members were also inducted to the club.

The investiture ceremony which was attended by dignitaries from all works of life was followed by a Fund Raising Banquet.

According to the newly elected President, funds realized on the occasion will be used to renovate the maternity wing of the Ediba Qua Health Centre and provide borehole for the centre.

In her acceptance speech, the new President Emana Asuquo Out said her vision is feeding the hungry – A platform for fighting hunger and providing food for the less privileged and fighting Diabetes and Pediatric Cancer Awareness.
