Carnage as over 40 allegedly killed in Nasarawa

There is a violent killing of over 40 Tiv nationalities in Awe and Obi Local government areas of Nasarawa state by alleged suspected Fulani marauders.

The killing is not unconnected with a corpse of a Fulani man that was discovered at the terrain buy the herders suspected to have been killed by the locals.

According to one of the Local source Mr Silas Verlumun, told journalsts that upon the discovery of the corps the said group of people started killing last Saturday night as the warlords launched attacked on Chabo, Daah and Ugba communities, all in Awe LG.

He said on Sunday morning they saw a team of Military men in two Hilux van as the community relaxed that normalcy has returned, but suddenly discovered the killers took over Tse Udugh and other neighbouring communities killing more than 40 persons.

He explained the all residence from that axis are now deserted, running for their lives ,
” I am appealing to the Nasarawa state Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Alhaji Sule, to come in our aid as Satan is by their side.
