Christmas: Mahmoud Preaches Peace, Love

The Minister of State, of the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has called on residents of the territory and Nigerians to use the occasion of the Christmas season to reflect on the values of love, peace, and unity that bind us as a community and as a nation.

Mahmoud, on her social media handles, prayed that the festive season would bring Nigerians renewed hope, happiness, and countless blessings.

She stressed that Nigerians remain committed to working to achieve greater progress and opportunities for all as we step into the new year.

The message reads thus: “As we celebrate the joyous season of Christmas, I extend my warmest greetings to you and your loved ones.

“This season is a time to reflect on the values of love, peace, and unity that bind us as a community and as a nation.

“Let us use this occasion to show kindness to one another, especially to the less privileged among us, and to strengthen the bond that makes the FCT and our nation a beacon of hope and harmony.

“Together, we can continue to build a nation of inclusiveness, development, and shared prosperity.

“May this festive season bring us renewed hope, happiness, and countless blessings. As we step into the new year, We remain committed to working to achieve greater progress and opportunities for all.

“Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!”
